Purpose of the Open Door Salon application
The Open Door Salon application is an internal production tool that connects to the YouTube Data API. Its sole purpose is to upload video clips from our production library to our own YouTube channel (youtube.com/@OpenDoorSalon) and schedule their publication dates.
Specifically, the application:
- Uploads short-form video content produced by our team to the Open Door Salon YouTube channel
- Sets video metadata we author ourselves: titles, descriptions, tags, and category
- Schedules publish dates and times for consistent release cadence
Who uses this application
The application is used exclusively by the Open Door Salon production team to manage our own channel. It is not distributed to the public, has no external or third-party users, and offers no sign-up, login, or access of any kind to anyone outside our organization.
Data access and privacy
The application accesses only our own YouTube channel and only for the purposes described above. It does not access, collect, or store viewer data, subscriber information, comments, or any personal information belonging to any third party. All data handled by the application is content we create ourselves.
